Well i’ve been having Nokia N95 battery problems that I just bought doesn’t last more than a day. It is normal ? Well I play a little and i hear music but that is for like an hour .Should i go change it or something? Nokia customer service weren’t much help.
I can’t think of a phone that is a better music player!
the Nokia N95 benefits includes …
-3.5mm jack
-A2DP
-internet radio
-normal radio
What else would you want that the Sony-Ericsson can do andthe n95 doesnt in terms of music capablity?
Bad Points!
If you wear jeans or anything tight the slider will move and the screen comes on, this means the battery will die very quickly.
Battery life is poor at best, use any apps and the bettery life becomes an issue.
Maps, O2 were very quick to warn me about the cost if I used their network for positioning (which the phone will do if it can’t use gps and you don’t turn the feature off), apparently it can be EXTREMELY costly, To use maps for navigation you either have to pay £6 a month to O2 for positioning through their network or you buy access to the maps stored on the phone for unlimited use. Maps activated while it was in my pocket once which scared the hell out of me.
Maps kills the battery, so only use it briefly or get an in-car kit. Also gives silly directions like take 2nd exit on your left when it could say turn right.
Dodgy Nokia N95 operating system, I’m fed up with plugging in the charger to find it hastn’t seen it and not charged by the next morning.
Had to reboot it a number of times.
Menu system, Nokia always seem to use 6 options where 2 options would probably do, however this is general thing with Nokia and I guess some people love them or hate them, I’m on the latter, the less buttons to press the better. With the Nokia N95 problems I don’t like to search for options either.
I’m still looking for a way to disable the god damn slider so that the keyboard lock doesn’t disable leading to battery death, I’ve only had the phone 6 months and I’m still looking.
Good points!
Alarms are Very loud and well configured. You are not going to miss a call, but I’ve never felt the vibro alert yet.
Good camera if you can get familiar with it’s funtionality.
Communications (Blue tooth, wifi) is very quick.
Standard earphone socket, you can use any headphones with this model, why can’t other manufacturers allow this?
This has to be the best phone that I have owned. The built in gps, big screen, 5mp camera, loud speakers, everything else about this phone is great. For people who want Nokmote or RotateMe you have to sign it yourself because you need the IMEI from your own phone.
Well this a good phone and it features r excellent but i m not completely satisfied with the phone performance its starting is damn slow and could have windows mobile it couldbe good….its cam clarity is good but in day time the flash doesn’t work….i prefer that do not take n95 as it is not as good as Nokia N81.
Hi everyone… I’ve been using the n95 for nearly 8 months and i’m feeling extremely happy that I’ve made the rite choice. The new n95 firmware v20.0.15 has made the phone rocking. Faster cam, Better sounds, more stable and even video ringtones. Its totally cool and yes if you close the slide, the keys get locked…however you can turn it off still.
