Nokia N95 8GB User Reviews:

The Nokia N95 8GB is good but only one problem its a bit big and also is slow. When u fill the memory up to about 6 GB the Nokia N95 8GB hanging start and becomes very slow. The camera is awsome nathin better.just bought it, actually ma dad bought it other than these things it a good phone. music is also good. (nothing to beat Sony-Ericsson).

I have taken the latter installing core player onto this unit was my first installation best thing i did now i can play full length movie files which end up being around the 850mb and plays at 24fps plays faultlessly-files types avi,mp4,3g,xvid,divx.
I tend to stick with the Nokia Music player adding my album art and plays and sounds great i encode mp3 at around 320 which gives extra clarity and bass and this i have tested this to be true.
investing in some quality headphones is essential when listening to music on this unit.
Gaming there are loads of games to be found for this unit on the net which are excellent quality which some put an psp to shame dont be fooled some of the upcoming games from Nokia N95 8GB Ngage service which truly push the hardware to psp Standards.
Overall i have to say this Nokia N95 8gb is a Jack of all trades and does what is does really well better than any other handset ive used including Pocket Pcs.

I’ve been using my N95-2 for more than a month now! It doesn’t hang eversince! No freezing either! As with Nokia N95 8GB virus, Symbian is one of the most popular mobile OS in the market…and its definitely prone with the virus. Awareness is one of the key factors we should take to. Avoid using your bluetooth in the public or make your bluetooth INVISIBILE from others. With email attachment, we now have mobile anti-virus like F-Secure, Trend-Micro, Norton Symantec. And goes to other security is the Firewall that blocks unwanted programs trying access the system.

Despite what everyone says the battery life is not as short as you think. That was a huge factor for me and a worry but after building up a memory in the battery after a few full charges and discharges it lasts 2 days WITH WLAN usage about 2 hours downloading big zip files. Tons of camera use with flash like 30 pics and 4 hours music. So I’m sure on stanby it’ll make it 3.

I love this phone, the screen is enough for anyone to buy it. Get this phone if you’ve been pondering… you WONT be disappointed. Love my Nokia N95 8GB.

Mate, I’ve been using my unit for more than a month now!…so far so good! No hanging or freezing! Camera, looks great though I’m not fond into picture taking! hahaha!

Sounds:

Loud, as it is considering two speakers on both sides. Supports a lot of 3rd party applications. Battery life 3 days TOPS. Internet connection - great speed especially using WLAN wifi!

I have bought the N95- a couple of weeks back -
overall a good phone but just like to share and ask a couple of details
Merits
1-5 megapixel camera is excellent - the pictures on the computer come very good
2-8GB memory - fantabulous
3-much more solid than the N95 -classic
4-Screen is bigger than the N95-classic
5-Battery last much much longer - good phone

Demerits -
1) a bit bigger
2) like the N73/N95- where the music artists and albums could be modified or deleted from the Music player the N95 8Gb navigation does not give that options - Possibly requires a firmware update
3)the phone resets itself if the headset is put in idle mode most of the times -
