Excellent phone, well feature packed for the Nokia E series, very stylish, slim and very well constructed, the sliding mechanism is one of the best around, very smooth and responsive, phone calls are exceptionally good and clear (no breakup or dropped calls) picks up great signal where my other phones do not, Excellent Wi-Fi for browsing, downloading and checking emails for free plus free internet phone calls!! Highly Recommended!
I have the E65 with most of my colleuges the phone is giving us hard time, it gives error like simcard registration failed ,after that its gonna be offline, I’ve taken it to Vodashop but same problem persist. I think Nokia failed us on this modem big time most of the people are complaining about the phone ,its not even 6months with phone already makes my hair grey. I like the features but now not to have a phone cause I have to purchase other phone due to the problem of the phone. It freezes big time.
My husband is fed up with the freezing, dropping calls, being so slow that i took it to my local nokia repair centre, they have phoned to say they can’t mend it cause there is no software update so they need to send it over to the main Nokia repair centre, thats says it all.
Seriously dont buy it!!! I’ve had mine since april and have had problems since. The buttons are temperamental, particularly the shortcut buttons on the top half of the phone. I’ve had to return and exchange it on three occasions! The battery is pretty rubbish too…
Being a owner of several phones in the past including a N95 the E65 isn’t the best thought of design to my standards; for instance the option buttons are too clamped up to each other, for someone with thick fingers they will struggle but the keypad is nice and comfortable to deal with. With the rest of the features and design it is very good still the same easy standard in the menu for the not so high tech people so in conclusing the E65’s design needs a little more thought to it but the rest of it is good.
I am not a big fan of the new E65. Been loyal to nokia for more than 10yrs with all of their business handsets. But this one- slow software loading, slide mechanism is poor, when it gets a bit hot buttons dont work or starts loading s-ware without prompting, wifi is OK but takes too many “steps” to get to a web page- But my biggest gripe, I have a beard and every #$% time it gets stuck in some part of the phone that wasnt assembled properly. My favourite is still the 6300- Solid reliable, well built and practical.
