A few things I’ve discovered with the 6500

1) The back cover-door is responsible for the phone to read the memorycard put it in place right till u hear the click sound close it tightly.

2) If u put the phone in magnetic case it will hang as the MAGNET interfere with the stainless steel body of the fone

3) If receiving a big file via bluetooth 50 60 MB the fone will automatically stores it on the Memory Card

4) I suggest to move all app. ringtones from the fone-memory to memorycard from recieved items anythings

5) Also don’t put to much numbers of SMS in the inbox more than 200msg so phone goes quite slow… you can copy them to the PC using the PC-Suite

6) Every time u switch Off-ON the phone the Music player updates the gallery so phone goes slow about a minute till the updating the gallery is complete

7 ) The Music-player is better than other Nokias I’ve owned

8 ) The in call voice quality is supremely louder and clearer than my previous N95

9) Battery life is for Day and a half under average use

10) The camera is top quality real colors doesn’t make FAKE colors as other N-series N73 N95 specially flash is too much powerfull than both.it records videos in VGA 640×480 at 15fps and in QVGA at 30fps … video capture is far better than the N73 but inferior to the N95 as N95 is top class in video capture.

This phone is ok, the only BAD THINGS are that the phone does not lock automatically when you close the phone and also your ringtones/themes will reset now and then as there is a fault with the memory card cradle which causes the memory card to move.. one way to test this is to keep the phone on and remove the back cover and try to access your memory card to see if still registers.

This is the Best and Most Perfect Nokia Phone since the Nokia 6310i. This Phone rocks in every category, it defines class, works smart with all the required tech specs, and is strong buit - all the best things about Nokia put int one + good value for all you get, please dont under estimate this phone. :)

Got this mobile about a month ago (previous mobile was Samsung D500). The design and looks are extremely good. By applying metal and not making it too slim (I’m sorry but Samsung Ultras are too slim) Slide feels sturdy but slim enough to be modern. The keypad is excellent as well, and this is the most ergonomic mobile I’ve ever owned. The display is very nice; bright with rich colours. The camera, for a 3.2MP, is better-than-average, but do not expect miracles!
About known issues… The battery life of my Slide (normal use) is about 3-4 days. Some people seem to have battery age less than half of this, which is strange.

People have also reported scratches in their keypad due to the metallic slider-part… and I have slight scratches in keys 3 and 6, but they aren’t that visible nor do they feel under my finger.
I can easily recommend this mobile to anyone looking for an extremely well-built and beatiful mobile with modern features. And S40 rocks so those who need to make video calls or use S60 can buy a business mobile. Yes, you should realize that it’d be stupid to include every darn function into every model: that amps up the price, and let’s face it, how many of us truly need half the features even a mid-range mobile offers.
