I have had little problems with this phone… I’ve been using this for about 1 1/2 months and so far and im quite satisfied with its performance..
my only gripes are the following:
*below average volume of speaker(instead i always set the vibration on when im outside)
*it cant play higher than QCIF video resolution especially when i transfered the videos taken by N73 & 6280 to my phone. =(
But overall, im happy w/ this phone and very satisfied w/ its music capabilities and sound quality.. and the design as well..
this phone is mainly for MUSIC, TEXT & CALL.
forget the camera and most of the other features.
Problem one: The phone has an xtremely poor external sound output. The damn thing rings in my pocket& I cant hear it
Problem two: well the earphones are weird too( I kinda fail to understand what’s the logic of of two unequal length of ear plugs??)
Problem three: The music console too is wonky: It restarts whenever it wants to & updates the music lib on it’s own. For what?? The console too is abstemious & could be better for a music version( after all that’s what it’s meant for!!).
Problem four: ( The biggest one) Well the adverts say 18 hours of music playback(HA HA HA)The 5310 wont last 24 hrs with a full charge (even if you’re not listening to music!!)
The rest probably are to mediocre to mention like the office utilities too are kinda useless.
The games are stupid & it does not come preloaded with 50 songs as the company claims it to be.The verdict:- The Nokia 5310 Xpres is definitely the ostracized one amongst the nokia lot. Try the walkman series from Sony instead if you love ur music.
Skip this and consider others brands first.
My 5310 just bought 1 month ago, the LCD was broken without reason. I never dropped it nor press it. But Nokia charge me only base on their own adjustment and didn’t believe me at all. Shouldn’t they think about the design, assembly line or components problem? If the mobile so weak and has such a bad design, why should I pay for that? The only reason I bought it is I love the music design and trust this brand. Now, i totally disappointed.
This phone is amazing!
just got it for christmas from my boyfriend its the best phone on the market!
the price is worth paying for what the phone is capable of!
RECOMMENDED TO MUSIC LOVERS!
1 month ago I got the 5310 Xpressmusic and i say it really rocks despite for its low speaker and not really the best 2 mp camera. The sound quality and the 3.5mm jack is the asset of this phone-I recommend this phone to all music lovers and loves eye candy phone the battery is satisfactory. NO REGRET!
I bought a 5310 2 days earlier. The plus point are 3.5 mm audio socket, excellent slim design, multi format support, excellent audio quality, 4 gb micro sd support and very fast response (comparing with Nseries).
The minuses are very low ring volume ,take too much time for getting fully charged and low back-up time…
Altogether i give 7.5 out of 10
