Motorola W377 Pros and Cons
- A great budget phone- This phone is like a blast from the past, basically a release of what would have been an excellent phone in 2000.
- Efficient battery life
- Lack of detailed manually for function explanations.
- Plagued with user reports of bugs and functions not operating properly.
- Awful specs, such as the VGA camera.
HTC Advantage X7500 User Comments and Guide:
After having this phone in my possession for almost a month, to say the least, I’m pretty satisfied. My favourite feature after using my old phone would definitely be the incredible battery life on this baby.
After 4 days, it’s probably on about 15% life left. Anyway, VGA sounds like crud on the surface but in reality the phones are surprisingly parallel to the quality of my 2.0 MP phones (no where near as good as my friend’s N95 though).
You might have heard it elsewhere if you’ve read other W377 reviews, and it’s not just a trend: The instruction manual for this phone is atrocious. It’s like they were running short on time for its release and just threw together the absolute minimum required to publish a user manual.
My friends think it looks stylish, and when it comes down to it, it still SMS’s and calls (with speakerphone too) so I’m satisfied.
Junk. Avoid it at all costs, sure there might be some who say ‘I just want a basic phone, I don’t care about bells and whistles’ but this phone DOESN’T EVEN HAVE the basics. Correction: It does, but they don’t even work. Gosh this phone infuriates me. I feel like an advocate of bad word for this phone, it’s driven me crazy for the last time.
