Back in September I was excited about the Motorola RIZR Z10 release , even went as far to pay $700 for it. It’s super nice looking but again, yes texting is difficult especially with the 1 2 and 3 buttons so close to the bottom of the slide, your nails catch the slide. Also you are unable to technically exit a program, they all run in the background cause major ram depletion and often crashes and restarts. Mp3 ringtones… not loud at all even on max volume on my hip case I couldnt hear it in a low noise atmosphere. The battery would also conk out early for some reason… probably the open programs in the background, but even off a start and idle the battery doesn’t last longer than 24 hours and would be at full then down to red blinking in 60 minutes or so.
Motorola! Motorola!! Motorola!!! Please wake up from your slumber. We’re almost in 2008 and you still haven’t figured out why Nokia, Samsung and now LG is taking your market shares??? Quit making phones with few stupid features. You guys make great hardware but the features you pack into the hardware are always limited. You made the A780 which I think was a mistake on your part as none of your phones till date pack the features that the A780 posseses. Let me give you a tip… Re-make the A780, call it whatever you like but this time don’t take away features. Rather add WLAN, TV outlet, stronger battery, document editor, at least a 3 megapixel camera, increase the internal memory storage, HSCD function, HSDPA, bluetooth with A2DP should be standard, GPS functionality and a better OS. Do this and see if Nokia, Samsung, LG or even Apple fans won’t have a re-think!!
I speak of experience with this phone, it looks super nice I like Motorola but don’t get this one.
Honestly, why did motorola have to come up with exactly identical phone with Z8 with just 1mp better camera. Rest of the Motorola Z10 is just the same. have they solved the problem of getting dead/hanged repeatedly? This is also considering the fact that world is already on 5mp camera in cell phones. I love Motorola but things needs to change real soon. Need are models which can be distinctly identified from one another!! Where is Motorola’s answer to Nokia N95 and Sony-Ericsson W960i?.
