Comin up to a year now with how long I’ve had my P3300.
It’s been pretty good, a few nuisances such as In UV light like the suns-rays, the
htc p3300 display is really unclear (more so than usual)

Windows Mobile 6 isn’t that great, but at least the SPB Mobile Shell makes up for it a bit.

If anyone’s interested in the update, it’s at (http://htcupdate.googlepages.com/).
At least HTC have released some new firmware for Windows Mobile, it’s a little better now (the problem was sluggishness and constant hanging).
For having GPS particularly, the phone’s pretty impressive for it’s cost. Battery life is spectacular as well, and it seems like not many others are complaining either. After a lot of stocking problems, I finally managed to get an HTC p3300 car cradel from my local mobile shop. Apart from that, a Good job from the lads at HTC.

HTC P3300 User Guide:

I was working with this phone for 2 weeks.

The advantages:
-Fantastic OS Stability.

-Extremely minimal voltage CPU, and sweet performance for its MHz.
-NM-EA GPS Functioning.
-Battery life very impressive, particularly with updates.

-Thin body and lightweight, particularly for all its features

The bad:
-Display a little small for a smartphone of this calibur.

-No keyboard! A must for a smartphone in my opinion.

Been really enjoying my time with this gadget. One annoying thing is however, I haven’t downloaded anything yet, i’ve erased some extra themes etc. I don’t need, and it keeps saying I’m on low memory. Anyone got a solution?

A while ago, I was just talking on the phone in a call and the phone completely turned off and hung. I figured out I had to take out the battery and re-place it, and it worked - but now it keeps constantly happening, and it’s a little bit annoying. Will try tape and see how that works and comment.

All the functions on the HTC p3300 have been treating me great. 2 days ago my screen wouldn’t display anything, So I had to sent it in to repair.

Even under warranty, the assholes at the repair place told me it’ll cost $125.

After e-mailing HTC customer service, they apologized but no refund of any sort.

So, the phone is pretty awesome but the customer service and warranty is a pile of crap.

I’ve been reading lots of comments about processor speed - While running a badly optimized video, I admit it was incredibly laggy and jumpy. But this is a smart-phone for business people, not an entertainment phone for teenagers. The GPS is a big pro for me, while navigating around Belgium, never came across a dead end or the wrong place!
The writing pen with this phone is pretty annoying, took ages to get used, I’d prefer a traditional one, but whatever, The HTC p3300 accessories with this phone are really grand. All in all I still think this is a really great, durable and functionable phone.
