HTC Advantage X7500 Pros and Cons
Massive 5 inch display with VGA screen.
Stylish design, very solid build, cool leather case.
Inredible range of features and capabilities.
Only 64 colors as apposed to 256.
Too big for a phone, to small for a notebook/laptop. Little things such as lack of backlight and phone vibration.
X7510 available that fixs many of the issues plaguing the X7500.
HTC Advantage X7500 User Guide:
All I hear left right center is issues with the X7500 HDD. You guys should quit complaining about the x7500 and move onto the much needed upgrade of the HTC Advantage X7510. I can’t wait for it’s release - Some of these upgrades include:
Double memory. For a fixed amount, 8gb to 16gb is a massive improvement.
Keyboard iz improved, larger interface to type with.
I’m fairly sure the OS and associated software has been running smoother, at least in my experience. Some apps like TomTom GPS are very functionable and easy on both.
Unless you’re a uber geek I’d steer way clear. It’s just not practical and light enough to be a casual phone, you’d be paying for so much extra capabilities and features that you probably wouldn’t ever touch unless you needed it for business uses. I’ve started my cadetship this year for accounting and it’s come in handy with getting work done quickly and making reminders/notes. Also makes me look smarter and sophisticated haha :P. Shame you’re stuck with Windows Mobile though, would be nice with some customizable OS, but that’s asking a bit too much. After all no phone is perfect.
Such mammoth specs on this big mother. I’ve owned one for a while now and I’m not sure whether I wanna flash this out in public, or I feel ashamed holding an encyclopaedia against my ear while talking.
I kinda regret buying it now. I realise It would be easier, plus would’ve cost less money to buy a small portable laptop and own a crappy phone instead to do the talking and communication. The X7500 is kinda like the worst of both worlds :/. I guess it can be suitable for some people and situations but not for me at least. Newer laptops with coreduo outdo this by far.
