I love the pearl, and all of its functions. However, i do have some minor problems with it like all of my call logs and text messages randomly erase. When someone calls me i can hear them, but they can’t hear me. My phone jumps from being on the network to jumping off automatically.
Wow I’m really really angry. I bought this phone under the *impression* that it would work like ‘normal’ phone but no, the blackberry needs to have fancy always connected features that require me to pay an additional ZAR69.00 on top of the 200 I’m already paying for the contract. This is such a waste of money. Why can’t I just have an option to connect when necessary and avoid all the fancy blackberry ’special features’ that have turned me away from this phone.

i got this phone for free with my service and i have to say that it is the best phone i have ever had.
i have spent a lot of money on expensive high end phones and totally regret it.
i just bought a 2gb sd card, and have downloaded movies, music etc.
i receive all my office work on the phone. i am able to spend less time in my office now.
btw, for ppl that say that u aren’t able to use bluetooth to transfer pics and music, you are totally wrong.
go to media in the menu. select music, pictures, video etc. (whatever you want to receive) and then press the menu button. it then says receive via bluetooth.
ou can do so mch with this phone. i think that once you go blackberry, you won’t be able to go back to another phone brand. everyone should have one.
I have tried this phone out, it’s pretty cool, I have never been a big fan of the blackberrys but this one is awesome I am definitly getting it when it comes out in a few days in the US. The web browser is nice not only does it have a camera but it has flash as well. Although the memory card is located behind the battery it’s still awsome because it has an MP3. Very good looking phone, loud for people who want to have a better voice quality. The voice recognition is Excellent just tell you phone what you want done by talking to it,only thing it needs is to talk back.
